I snapped this photo on a recent outing in Cong, Ireland. I apologize for the poor quality of the photograph - clearly, I am an amateur photographer. The plants were located on the banks of a small river, the water of which was approximately 65F. Also, the water, although clear, had a distinct rust colored tint to it. Perhaps it was a result of minerals leaching into the water from the soil.
I would like to I.D. the plants in the photograph. I can make out three distinct plants - (1) tall, rosette plant with emersed leaves, (2) stem plant that looks like bacopa or rotala macranda, and (3) stem plant with fine, needle-like leaves.
If anyone can provide some insight that leads to the I.D. of these plants, I will appreciate it. I can e-mail the original photo file if it will help. In case you are wondering, I did not manage to bring any of these plants back with me.
