I'm not sure what you're asking here. Could you try to explain again. A screen shot would do wonders as well if something isn't displayed correctly.

Are you using an "ad blocker" of some type? If so, are you blocking:
aquaticplantcentral/forumapc/images/gradients/*
or
aquaticplantcentral/forumapc/images/gradients/gradient_panel.gif
If so, that may be your problem.

Looks like you accidently switched to the basic editor.
Go to the very bottom, and change "Message Editor Interface" to Full or Enhanced.
