pps pro for an anubias tank

hi,

i am in the process of setting up an african biotope tank. it will be a 50gal tank lit by 2 55w power compacts, co2 injected with plain gravel and sand substrate. plants will be mostly different anubias', bolbitis, hairgrass and a couple stems of nesea.

i plan to fertilize using the pps pro method and im wondering if it will work. i assume that the fert uptake of the anubias is slower than stem plants and the excess fertilizers will just fuel algae growth.

i also read somewhere(cant remember where) that excess macro fertilizers will damage anubias plants.

are this true?

thanks in advance for the replies.:D

PPS-Pro should work just fine.

Huge excesses of any nutrient will damage all plants, not just anubias.

Anubias do use less nutrients in the same time period as other plants.
If you notice you are overdosing just cut back. Instead of using 1ml per gallon use .5ml.

just a small correction... it should be 1ml/10 gallon.
thanks for the quick response.
