i am in the process of setting up an african biotope tank. it will be a 50gal tank lit by 2 55w power compacts, co2 injected with plain gravel and sand substrate. plants will be mostly different anubias', bolbitis, hairgrass and a couple stems of nesea.

i plan to fertilize using the pps pro method and im wondering if it will work. i assume that the fert uptake of the anubias is slower than stem plants and the excess fertilizers will just fuel algae growth.

i also read somewhere(cant remember where) that excess macro fertilizers will damage anubias plants.

are this true?

thanks in advance for the replies.:D
