Does anyone keep these together successfully in a planted tank? I notice that some sites recommend keeping Praecox rainbows in water with temp in the mid 70s whereas discus like 80+. I always had a tough time getting Praecox to live very long. Any suggestions would be great.

The M. Praecox I keep have been in temperatures from 65 up to 88 degrees Fahrenheit. They are fairly hardy, long lived, and breed easily.
