SAE's are egglayers - they don't get "pregnant". And a 10 gallon tank is far too small to house even one SAE - they grow to over 8" (mine did anyway). The older they get and the bigger they grow, the more of a pain they become. They can get nasty with much smaller fish.
These days I much prefer shrimp.
