I really want a breeding group of RCS in my 75 gal planted tank.

Will cories, SAEs, cherry barbs, or amano shrimp eat them? At $1 per shrimp, that's an expensive fish feeding regimen...

I'd worry about the barbs. I haven't had cherry's but tigers will eat anything that moves. The rule seems to be if it fits in the mouth it will go in there. That being said, I'm currently trying them in my 80 with congos and rainbows. I think if the tank is planted heavily, there should be enough hiding areas for a population to survive.

Thanks FD- I was a bit worried about them. They are some of the smallest barbs, so I don't think they can eat the adult RCS. Like you said, maybe with enough cover, I could maintain a decent group.

Good luck with yours- you have a nice healthy tank, you could hide a thousand shrimp in there!

Some might survive but you wont see them much if you have fish in the tank. Theyll mostly come out at night to feed.
I have some ghost shrimp in my 75 and I hardly see them. I'll think they've all been eaten by the Anglefish and then one will show up at feeding time. You can find them at night with a penlight - their eyes glow like tiny points of glowing light.
I keep my RCS in a 10 with lots of moss and one Oto.
