This plant is available at a LFS near me as emersed growth in the pond section (a good place to find a good number of plants useful to us). Does anyone have any experience with it? I mainly want to know how large it gets submersed. There really isn't much information about it's suitability as an aquarium plant, so I thought I'd ask.

Here's a picture:

came from this site:

Thanks, Cavan

Growth rate is slow to moderate submersed. Emersed, its invasive.
I kept trying to get the leaf size to get bigger, thought it'd look
better but I never managed to get a leaf larfer than 3" long. Fairly
arrtactive - it an interesting accent plant.

Thanks for the responses.

How did you grow it emersed? I suppose it would do fine potted as long as it was watered frequently.

You no longer keep it?

I got some of it today, so we'll see how it goes.

I haven't been able to get it to grow leaves that are larger than 3 inches either. Not yet anyway. What was your water temperature? Mine is usually about 74-75, but I wonder if even that is too much as far as leaf size goes. Everything else is in line as far as I know. It even stopped growing the 'chloritic looking in the presence of high iron' leaves.
