I was thinking this is becoming a very popular little side project for many of us and I have not seen a similar forum anywhere. It is also an area of the hobby that seems to have a science and art all of its own. Everyting from diy hydroponics ferts to custom planting siols are currently being discused in other parts of APC. Maybe this field warrants it's own forum. I would be nice to come to one place to ask questions and learn info rather than searching all over the board looking. Not that looking is not fun Just my thoughts anyway.

Thanks for your input. That is becoming a very popular topic. What we struggle with is diluting the board with too many forums. You are not the first person to suggest this and we are considering it.
