I was wondering if anyone has this lighting unit or has any information regarding it. I am considering purchasing it for my 65G shrimp tank, but want to get some feedback on it first.

I think the general consensus on this light is its a good light, and an amazing light for the price you pay. I don't think you can find anything equivalent for even close to that price. I just ordered from Catalina, very good service!

For $150 absolutely positively get it.

Upsides - independent reflectors (only the 4 reflectors sell for $80). Two light switches, nice!

Downsides - you will be getting the most amazing low quality bottom of the line chinese bulbs. If you can't exchange the actinics for 10K whites then this is a bummer too. Non waterproof end caps, eh well you can cover them in silicone if you are that worried about water condesating on them.

Overall the price is great. You can always get T5HO Giesemann's for $20 each and grow any plant you care to plant on the bottom of that tank.
