Is anyone else doing a pond like this? I have a 250ish gallon container pond that is surrounded by 4 halved IBC totes. Here's a pic of it while it was still being set up.

I have one planted out already, the others have floaters but still need to get some plants put in them.

Here's a short video.

From the pic, it looks like he popped on some uniseals and just shoved a pipe through. :D

I wish I had the spousal approval for something like this.

I can guesstimate, it was a project that I pieced together since it was budget-minded. The center container pond is made out of cinder blocks and 5 mil plastic. It cost about $100 or so for the blocks and mortar, the plastic I already had laying around, but shouldn't be more than $5. I may end up swapping it for a legitimate pond liner at some point, we'll see.

I believe the IBC totes were $125 total. The uniseals were about 2.50 each and I got 7 of them for this setup, so $17.50. The 30g barrel was $15. The piping and fittings was around $30. The filter media (rocks and sand) was $15. The pump is one I already had, a deep blue triton 5 (1350gph), I think I got it for around 60 or 70 originally. There's also a cheap 18w uv sterilizer on there that was around $35. And I recently plugged in my co2 tank since I wasn't using it on my new indoor system.
