i was wondering about the different brands of t5 ho bulbs out there. are they all a set standard kind of deal and any brand can be used in any light fixture or are they each specifically designed for a certian fixture.
i have a current nova extreme pro and i ordered some aqua medic plant gro bulbs for it and i put them in and they seem to take longer for the full bulb to light up compared to the bulbs that i already had in it which came with the fixture. so i looked at the bulbs i already had and found out that they were slimpacs and they come on completly almost as soon as i turn on the switch. should i worrie about this is it going to hurt my fixture or am i just paranoid.
