Tanichthys albonubes (White Clouds) change colour with CO2

Recently, I bumped up the CO2 delivery from about 50 bpm to 60 bpm. This is a 30 US gallon aquarium, with a good load of plants growing. None of the fish were stressed as far as I can see. But the Clouds turned dark irridescent gold. Their behavior is normal, otherwise. What a strange way to measure CO2. As I say, they are healthy, eating well, and playing just as much as usual.

That's interesting.
I picked up some Rummy noses from a friend with a very high C02 content and hers were much "yellower" looking than mine. I always assumed it was from our different water sources, but maybe it was the C02.
