Hello all

Last July I bought 6 DD superveil angels.
I have them in a 46 gallons bowfront planted aquarium.
They are starting to get territorial and are nipping and lip locking
with the other angels.
I need to remove two of them but don't know which two to remove.
They are 7" tall, fin to fin.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Here are some pictures of them:

For the latest pictures, look at the first three pictures.
Thank you

I don't think a 46 g is large enough for 6 angels. AND they are picking on each other although no harma has been done yet.
Did i understand you right? When you removed a pair, the others started "elininating" another one.

Hey Charles,

Ed is right. Usually, you separate a pair that is formed. 6 is the magic number to get the highest probability of getting a pair. I would wait until a pair has formed. Also, they start getting aggressive only after the pair is ready to spawn. Are you witnessing anything different?

BTW, they are beautiful angels. I've been trying to track some down for a while but can't seem to find them. Where did you buy them?
I bought them on Aquabid.
If you lookd on Aquabid.com, look for Dansdiscusand angels (may be Dansangelsand discus).
He's been breeding angels and discus for 30 years.. I bought 2 LF ABN and these 6 angesl and didn't lose a one.
Thank you
Charles
