1. Click "Go Advanced", which is below the text block.

2. Click the "paper clip", which is in the top row of symbols above the text block.

3. A "Manage Attachments" menu will show up. In "Upload File from your Computer", click "Choose File" at the top of that menu, and select the picture on your computer that you want to be in your post. Then click "upload" at right of "Choose File". If you want to use a file that is already online, click "Upload File from a URL" instead and paste URL for the file, then click "upload".

4. Go back to the text block and complete your message and "submit Reply".

Yorkie, I visited the post you linked, and the same thing happened to me. I note that the images were on Photo Bucket. If the original poster has not kept their membership in Photo Bucket up to date, images can disappear or not display correctly. The post in question is from 2007, so the Photo Bucket account may be expired.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'text block' and I could not find "Go Advanced". But, in view of Michael's post below, it may be that the images are no longer available.

Hi Michael

Thanks for that. I suspect, as you say, that the images are no longer available.

I misunderstood your question! Photobucket is "temporarily" not working. They say they are improving it, but for now our photos there are not available. I keep my dues paid up there because I have so many photos stored there, but I can't even see my own photos now.
