I just got a used 80-100 gallon on craigslist for a good deal, it came with a nice rock background and no the rock is not diy he got it for $150 off some site. i want to paint it to look more realistic, what kind of paint can i use??
I think I would remove it from the tank and set it on a book case somewhere. Considering what can be done with manzanita branches or pieces of mopani wood, or natural rocks, why not go that route? If you paint that, trying to make it look realistic, it will always look like you painted it.
That is just my opinion though, and we all have different ideas about what looks best in an aquarium.
