1) What would you consider to be the most light demanding aquarium plant?

2) And has anyone been able to grow it using an led fixture?

Well, probably does not quite meet your criterion, but many pond plants that grow in full sun are attempted in aquariums, and fail. Not enough light.

Water Lettuce is sort of marginal in this respect. People call it 'dwarf' water lettuce when it stays small and flat at the surface of a tank with bright light. But in a sunny pond it grows to its proper size, tall and wide, like a head of lettuce. I have not tried it with LED.

Thanks for the reponses.

3) If you have successfully grown high light plants using LEDS can you let me know of the tank height ?

4) As well anyone consider Dwarf Hair Grass a plant that requires high amounts of light and has this been successfully grown with LED and at what tank height?
