I am wondering where I can get some REALLY nice decorative rocks from. I see the Iwagumi style tnaks have nice large pieces of rock in there as well as other high end aquariums have REALLY NICE rocks in there. I am hoping to get a nice Angelfish tank set up, and was looking for some nice pieces of rocks to use in and around the base of the drift wood. Any ideas or hints or anyone know where to get the rocks from?

I say visit your local fish store. Preferredly not Petco or any chain. I dont recall see them selling real rock, but different area might offer differently.

Remember just any ole rock won't do. Limestone for example is a no-no. A lot of cities have stores that sell only rocks---believe it or not---so first research what is acceptable and what is not. I don't know where you are located but the geology in your area might just be what you need.

I am in New Hampshire, but all the local fish stores all I see is slate.

OK, local lanscaping places is where I will look for rocks. Anyone have like a list or link to what rocks are ok for aquariums and what are no no's?
