thanks, brooklyn plant guy... will do! in fact, would happen to have them in with shrimp? the research I have done so far is that they will generally not bother even cherries... but they are opportunistic, and if they happened upon an unsuspecting one, they'd take it!

if you have yours in with shrimp, I'd be interested to know what you observe.

Just got them in so I really can't comment on just how predatory they are. I put them in with my swordtails for now, thats the tank with the most MTS and pond snails for them to eradicate. I'm sure in time they will make the rounds of all my tanks to handle my snail problem.

i found some on aqua bid but they are in Germany and will be about 56 dollars shipped i am not sure i want to risk that much if u get them and they breed let me know =)

yeah... that is pretty costly... think I'll pass and hope for something domestic to pop up...
