Have you shipped it to the West Coast before? How well do they do in shipping?

They're in Texas.

These fish do not ship all that well. If you do get some get Captive bred.

We ship using styrofoam insulation, breather bags, and heat or cold packs. Lately we started double bagging the breather bags because a small % of them bust open (defective plastic). Maybe about 1-2 out of 100 do that but we decided to not take chances. We put water between the two bags for better gas exchange - like the manufacturer suggest.

I am hoping to get it from someone that is around the So. Cal area so I can just pick it up. If I can't find a person then Invertz Factory would be my next choice.

Contrary to what the other user said, I think they ship very well. One order was delayed and arrived fine. A couple of the people who bought them (in my feedback here at APC) were from CA.

Mine are tank bred - F1 - from wild stock.
