Awesome, awesome plant (now Ludwigia senegalensis!) but I don't think it qualifies as small or straight. It can get a decent size. I suggest Lindernia sp. 'India' instead.Ludwigia sp guinea (I wanted a straight small diameter accent plant, if you have something similar let me know. I am experienced but have been out of the hobby for a while. seems like there is tons of new stuff!)
I'm sorry, but I don't have any of either to give up. I only have a one and a half inch stem of the Ludwigia in my emersed setup. Oddly enough, I was hoping to get it again and the day after I mentioned it to a friend, I looked in there and there it was! Some of the substrate was used, so maybe it came in that way as a seed. I don't have the 'India' right now, nor do I have the Bacopa.your right cavan, and i appreciate the suggestion. However i still want to give ludwigia a try, but i am willing to buy Either the Lindernia sp india OR Bocapa Carolinia var 'Colorata'. let me know of you own any of these plants, i am eager to buy.
