Looking for fast growers to plant a new tank (45G Hex) with lower light. I am a newbie so easier plants would be best. I really want to battle any algae problems as best I can. PM me please.

some plants that ive read are low light. i dont know how fast they grow. any help is appreciated.

am i missing any good fast growing low to medium light plants?

I only saw 3 plants from your list that grow quickly.
Hygro Ploysperma
Cerato. demersum - hornwort
Juncus Repens

The others are low light but grow slowly.

Some fast growers, low light are Bacopas, Ludwigia repens 'rubin', rotala roundifolia As your tank ages you can take these out if you don't like them and leave your slower growers. :D

thanks, i will try to find those fast growers and if i have any more room then ill go with some of the better looking (IMO) slow growers. maybe ill get lucky and some people will have these as a gift at the next meeting. ;D

StuckinTexas, I have pulled a bunch of Hygrophila from my 20 G and 15 G tanks and need to get rid of them this weekend FREE for pickup. Also have a few stems of Bacopa Carolinia. PM me.
