Hi,

I recently got some yellow king kong shrimp that are doing really well. I know I could add a neocaridina for a little variety in the tank, but does anyone know if they are compatible with other caridina shrimp?

Thanks,
James

All cardina shrimp will end up cross breeding, so not a good idea to mix any other bee shrimp into the same tank if you're trying to keep them breeding true. The neocardina you have pictured, like you said would be fine in the tank though!

Uh oh, if that's a neo, then I got I got swindled. These are a bright, highlighter yellow with no white stripes on the back, but they've stayed small like neos, so far at least.

So I guess I should wait awhile before adding tankmates.

This is a different pic that shows a different angle.

I don't have a camera anymore to get real macro shots.
