Hi,

I wa swondering if there is any benefit in adding an air pump during the night when the lights are off?

My co2 level is not very high, (20ppm maybe) and I am just wondering if it would help not stressing the fish during the night?

Does the air pump affect traces at all or just co2?

Yup, just to echo what Bert stated, the air pump won't have an effect on the trace dosings, just gas content like CO2.

It doesn't souund like there's a lot of CO2 in the water in the first place, so maybe a pump at night isn't necessary. But check how your fish react in the morning. If they're at the surface and plucking at the surface of the water, then run the pump, or decrease CO2.
