my cichlids think SAEs are yummy

are there any alternatives before my BBA growth gets out of hand. I have mostly anubias and I recently saw a couple of flagtail prochilodus Are they eating algae? Do they harm anubias? should i be looking into florida flag fish. my bristlenose does a great job but cant get the plant leaf edges.

Question is, what types of cichlids are you keeping? If they are eating SAEs, then they must be pretty aggressive --and, thus, bite sized Florida Flag Fish are out of the question.

If I remember correctly, Prochildus are largely herbivorous and will probably eat your plants.
