Hi all, I have been a fish hobbyist for awhile now and never used plants in my tanks. One of my friends asked me to check out Aquaforest here in San Francisco and after I left that place, I wanted to try plants in my tank.
An iwagumi tank seems to be less maintenance and I like how the HC looks as groundcover.
Here are the specs for my office tank:
11/28/2007: About a month old, HC hasn't filled in and hairgrass is too hard to maintain in this nano tank.
11/28/2007: I took out the hairgrass and replace it with Blyxa Japonica because it doesn't grow as fast as the hairgrass.
1/07/2008: HC filled in a bit and Blyxa is started to grow. Sorry for the phone camera shots.
1/29/2008: HC and Blyxa doing nicely.
2/05/2008: HC and Blyxa filled out.
