Murdannia sp. is very easy to grow and grows pretty fast.

That Ericaulon Sp. from Australia that was mentioned is very expensive. I tried to get a hold of some but I couldn't shell out $80 for a 1cm size plant.

I also tried to get a Cryptocoryne cordata 'Rosaneruvig' plant but at $450  each I had to pass. Some of these rare plants have heafty price tags.

New plants in the hobby in the Netherlands/Belgium:

Bucephalandra Motleyana (how anyone will be able to pronounce this one, is beyond me :? ):

New sort of Monoselenium (cauliflower-like):

A very narrow leaved form of Microsorum pteropus (picture is a bit dark):

Other new plants here are the Ludwigia spec 'Cuba', Proserpinaca palustris, Monoselenium tenerum, Tonina fluviatilis. But I think these are already known here on the boards.
It would be very wise if you told the crowd these are not YOUR foto's but mine. I do not care you using then if at least YOU TOLD ME!!! This is not a nice thin to do Sven!!! Sorry guy's But today is my first visit to this specific forum and to encounter mij own foto's (and plants) is kind of ... well mmm, strange.

He missed the Blyxa japonica though also a incrideble nice plant.

Wow, I didn't know Ericaulons were so expensive!

I think I have 3 plants which sprouted out of a moss patch:shock: . The whole patch is only 4 cm in diameter. I hope I'm not wrong, but it looks very similar to the picture, red with green tips, except much more rosette (much like E. cinereum I think). And yes, like what Robert said, height and diameter around 1 cm. Growing emerse with pot standing in a plate of water. Really tiny.

I collected the patch near a trickle of springwater off a rock cliff fronting the beach. It was more for a sundew, drosera spathulata (also tiny, 2-3 cm in diameter), but I went off for a weekend few moths ago and the pot dried out. Sundew died, leaving the moss and some utricularia suspect. Then 3 tufts of weird looking things emerged. Thought it was moss at first but it didn't spread. Been keeping it for more than 6 months now emersed, with fish emulsion as fert. Began suspecting it as an Ericaulon when I saw a pic of cinereum (hope I didn't get the name wrong).

Will try to grow it on and get it to flower. But grows very slowly though. Does anyone have experience with it in tanks? Will post a pic soon.

Regards

Min
